Angela Flux is the Mystic Guardian in Sanctum, the game's main progression quest giver and the NPC who offers the Mystic Class Tome at level 10. She walks around the World Portal inside her tower.
What Angela Does
- Starts the introductory A Warm Welcome quest.
- Guides progression through the Catacombs, Crescent Keep and Crescent Grove.
- Offers Mystic-related skill quests and Mind Mastery.
- Provides the permanent Mystic class choice at level 10.
- Starts later collection quests such as The Glyphik Booklet.
Important current progression quests include Communing Catacombs, Diva Must Die, The Keep Within, Disciple of Magic, Tethering Grove and The Glyphik Booklet. Quest requirements changed during Early Access, so use Angela's current quest panel rather than an old level list copied from an alpha guide.
How to Get the Rude! Achievement
Wait for Angela's idle animation in which she picks up and reads a book. While she is reading, strike her with a valid attack. She retaliates and the hidden Rude! achievement unlocks; her response does not deal normal combat damage.
If it does not trigger:
- Wait until the book-reading animation has clearly begun.
- Try a normal weapon attack rather than an interaction key.
- Stand close enough for the hit to register.
- Retry in vanilla if an animation or NPC mod changes Angela.
Mystic Class Warning
Using Angela's Mystic Class Tome is intended to be permanent. A Tome of Unlearning refunds Skill Points but does not change class. Review the classes guide before committing.
