The Keep Within is Angela's progression quest through Crescent Keep. It asks you to attune the West and East Wing sigils before returning to Sanctum.

Step-by-Step Route
1. Accept the Quest from Angela
Reach level 8, finish Diva Must Die, then speak to Angela in her Sanctum tower. Accepting the quest unlocks the route into Crescent Road.
2. Travel through Arcwood Pass and Crescent Road
Use the northern route from Outer Sanctum to Arcwood Pass, then continue to Crescent Road. Activate waypoint beacons when you see them so failed attempts do not require the full walk again.
3. Enter Crescent Keep
The Keep is a large open-field fortress with levels 8–13 enemies, narrow arenas and frequent vertical movement. Activate the Crescent Keep waypoint immediately after arriving. Bring healing items and equipment appropriate for the area's level range.
4. Attune the West Wing Sigil
Follow the western progression route into the Keep. Clear each locked combat room; the next gate opens after its enemy waves are defeated. Continue through the platforming section to the sunlit western arena, then interact with the sigil.
5. Attune the East Wing Sigil
Return toward the central route and proceed through the eastern rooms. Expect Golems, Mouths and more compact encounters. The eastern sigil is near the route that ultimately leads toward Crescent Grove.
6. Return to Angela
Once both quest objectives are marked complete, Recall or use the waypoint network to return to Sanctum. Speak with Angela to receive the rewards.
What The Keep Within Unlocks
- Access to later Crescent Keep quests and repeatable Golem objectives.
- The prerequisite for Angela's level 15 Tethering Grove quest.
- Progress toward opening Crescent Grove and attuning its dungeon sigil.
- Connections toward Gate of the Moon and Wall of the Stars after further progression.
Troubleshooting
- The path is closed: Confirm Diva Must Die is complete and The Keep Within is active.
- A room will not open: Search for an enemy left on another level or behind cover.
- Crescent Grove is still locked: The Keep Within alone is not enough; at level 15 take Tethering Grove from Angela.
- You cannot find the next route: Crescent Keep is highly vertical. Look above the arena for stairs, ledges and archways.
- You keep dying: Use the waypoint outside the Keep, upgrade level-appropriate gear, and do not pull multiple rooms at once.

The October 2025 Dediscovery update revised and split several overworld maps, so older video guides may show a different approach. This guide follows the current Crescent Road and Crescent Keep layout.
